Spend any time in the organ and tissue donation and transplantation world and you learn one thing quickly: We’re a close-knit group. It’s really inevitable. When you’re working to save someone’s life or to enhance someone’s quality of life, you become invested. Not just in the mission but with the donor families and in the team around you as well. Together, amazing things happen. And an extended family is formed. This is everyday life at Indiana Donor Network.

That’s all the more reason why we’re proud to announce that Indiana Donor Network has been named a winner of the Central Indiana 2016 Top Workplaces award by The Indianapolis Star. The Top Workplaces winner lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC. The survey measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.

At Indiana Donor Network, we strive to be a leader in organ and tissue recovery through our operations, practices and customer experience. The gratitude and passion returned by our donor families, recipients and their families is reward enough. But to have the team behind our lifesaving mission recognized – and by each other no less – is all the more rewarding.

“The dedication, professionalism and compassion of our team truly makes this a Top Workplace,” said Kellie Hanner, president and chief executive officer of Indiana Donor Network. “This award further underscores our collective commitment toward saving lives through organ, tissue and eye donation and transplantation.”

So, today, we celebrate our incredible team and the important work we have been entrusted to do. We look forward to a great year ahead restoring hope and saving lives through organ and tissue donation.
