Ashley Marie Christ
It’s hard to find the words to describe someone that holds such a special place in your heart and the hearts of so many. Our Ashley was passionate about life from the time she entered this world. Her laugh was heard and felt by many. Ashley’s laugh wasn’t just a sound you heard, it was a feeling you felt. She was fierce in her short life here. She loved Jesus and was desperate to know him more, to be close to him and ultimately to find freedom in and with him. She was always looking for someone to help, even in her own trials. There is not a day that goes by we don’t think of our Ashley. Though we miss her deeply and our hearts break for more time with her, we also feel blessed to have shared 24 years with her. There is no promise of tomorrow. When we are willing to love someone immensely, we know heartbreak awaits each of us in this life. Thank you Lord that we were blessed with a love so deep for Ashley that we have to experience heartbreak over the loss of her, yet fully trust we will see her again!Ashley Marie Christ

Cheryl Ann DeWitt
Cheryl was a kind person that lit up a room with her smile. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend and dedicated nurse. She was a very giving person, lending a hand or talking to people needing comfort. Cheryl prayed often. I found paper after Cheryl passed away. On the back in her words were: “This is a prayer that is on my fridge. I say it almost everyday”. A Prayer for Generosity. By St. Ignatius Loyola. Dear Lord teach me to be generous, teach me to serve you as you deserve, to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wound, to toil and not to seek rest, to labor and not to seek reward, save that of knowing that I do your will. As her husband I can say this prayer nicely summed up Cheryl’s life. When I first met Cheryl she taught me that life is not about how many people you love, but how many people love you. When she died it was humbling to find out how many people loved her.Cheryl Ann DeWitt
