Marjorie A Pike

Marjorie Ann Pike was the most faithful, loving, giving, and thankful person we as a family have ever known. She had an open, accepting and welcoming heart, and she made everyone she met feel like a member of her family. She lost her own mother when she was only three years old. Perhaps it was this enormous loss at a young age that made her want to mother all who came to her for friendship, help, or support. She was a listening ear, confidant, and counselor all rolled into one. Her entire life was colored by her generous spirit and, even in the face of her terminal battle with cancer, she was thankful to God for everything He had allowed in her life. Her purpose was always to serve Him and His children. So, even though cancer ravaged her body, her final act was a gift of life through the Indiana Donor Network who were able to use her skin tissue. So even after she died, she kept giving. It was a fitting tribute to a life well-lived. We love you, Mom (Mimi), Your loving family.
