At Indiana Donor Network, we know that you want to be the best possible advocate for families. In order to do that, you need to provide excellent service for families during the most difficult times of their lives.

The problem is, donation creates an unavoidable delay in the process which makes you feel frustrated. We believe that together, both of our organizations can create value for these families.

We understand you care deeply about the families you serve which is why we have a funeral director on staff who understands and will address your concerns. We can work together to serve families and honor their loved one’s legacy while embracing the opportunity to save and heal lives.

Funeral homes are a very important partner in the organ and tissue donation process by supporting the families of donors as they say goodbye to their loved one. We understand the impact that donation has on funeral directors and embalmers, and the additional work it creates. Your dedication and support are greatly appreciated and important to us, as well as the partnership we share.

We hope the resources we’ve compiled will be useful as you support the families of donors. If there is anything we can help with, please do not hesitate to contact our funeral director liaison, Mackenzie Hughey, CFSP, by phone at 317.439.9488 or email at mhughey@INDonorNetwork.org.
