For those fortunate enough to receive an organ donated for transplant, they truly have been given the gift of life. Their goal is to stay focused on getting healthy again to honor that gift. The last thing they need to worry about is unexpected burdens that may rob them of their ability to maintain the health of that organ. For too many people, it’s a real possibility. Enter the Angel Fund.

Through the Angel Fund, Indiana Donor Network raises, administers and distributes funds for medications for transplant patients. After a transplant, immunosuppressed patients can incur significant costs.

Thank you to our presenting sponsor, VisionFirst, for your support of the Angel Fund Gala. To learn about the impact that VisionFirst makes in the lives of others, watch Sarah Conn’s story below.

As a transplant social worker at Indiana University Health, Jane Forbes supports those waiting for lifesaving transplants. After preaching living donation to her patients for seven years, Jane chose to begin to start the process of becoming a living donor.  Watch her inspiring story below.

Why support the Angel Fund? Because of people like Gerald who find themselves in a crisis and risk losing their lifesaving transplants because of the tremendous cost of their anti-rejection medication. Watch his story of hope below.
