Many families develop an ongoing relationship with Indiana Donor Network, which sometimes extends over several years. Donor families express that they feel their loved one is not forgotten and that their legacy lives on, not only through the recipients they are able to help, but also through the remembrance events held by Indiana Donor Network.

Spring is Hope

Spring is Hope is a workshop where donor families are invited to create a spring keepsake in memory of their loved ones. Families are encouraged to bring photos of their loved ones to incorporate into the keepsake they are creating. Workshops are hosted in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bendand Evansville.

Donor Wall Remembrance Event

Donor families are invited to view their loved one’s name proudly displayed on Indiana’s Donor Wall.  During the event, families are encouraged to create keepsake impressions and take photos of their loved one’s name. Each family is invited to the event two times and after two years, the names are rotated off of the wall and into a tribute booklet, which is displayed next to the Donor Wall.

Gift of Life Celebration

Each year, Indiana Donor Network honors donors and invites their families to a ceremony that celebrates the lives of the donors and their lifesaving gifts. Families are encouraged to share a photo and tribute to be featured in a video and booklet. Each family is invited to this special event twice and can be invited every year after that, upon request. If you would like to be invited to additional Gift of Life Celebrations after two years, please contact our Aftercare Support Team at 888.275.4676 or aftercare@iINDonorNetwork.org
