As part of an FDA continued access study, Indiana Donor Network can utilize the LifePort Liver Transporter when requested by any of the four Midwest transplant centers that participated in the trial. The organization now awaits FDA approval for clinical use of the device to utilize the machine when coordinating liver transplants throughout the U.S.
