— For Children Related to Donor Heroes —
At this week-long camp, children will be inspired to honor their loved one as a donor hero, which creates a process of support, relationship building, hope and healing.
June 30 – July 5, 2024 | Bradford Woods
Why Donor Hero Camp?
The outdoor retreat experience allows children of all ages to engage in adventure, emotional development and individual growth opportunities.
Donor family children need a safe place to explore events that have happened in their lives and connect with other children who have been through similar experiences in losing a loved one.
Donor Hero Camp provides children with a unique opportunity to honor and remember their donor hero while learning about the impact of donation.
The Goals of Donor Hero Camp
- Provide children who are relatives of donor heroes the opportunity to express their broad range of emotions. They will grow emotionally and build skills and confidence.
- Educate children and gives them the tools to cope better at home and in school environments.
