Timothy Altom
closeXTimothy H. Altom was a man who passionately consumed knowledge and sought to enrich the lives of those around him. The only child of Ruth L. Fultz Altom and M. (Bud) Altom, Tim spent most of his life on the eastside of Indianapolis, particularly in Irvington. He had two daughters, Crystal and Alexandra, and step-children, Maria and Johnny. Tim had five grandchildren: Jonathan, Tristan, James, Jaliene, and Spencer. He is remembered by his widow, Diana Hardcastle Altom and his surviving loved ones as a man of learning and generosity. He published his first story, The Twist in Galaxy in 1974 when he was nineteen. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in English from IUPUI, Tim wrote books and countless articles. He later earned his Master’s Degree from the School of Informatics also from IUPUI and taught as an adjunct professor. Tim reminded those around him to constantly strive to be better tomorrow than today. Read an old book. Learn a new skill. Meet someone new and listen to their stories. Share what you know with others and never stop improving.
Robert Applegate
closeXAsking to write a tribute for my dad, Robert A. Applegate, so close to the one year anniversary of his death is very difficult. But, maybe it’s a sign of time to start healing. As I held his hand as he took his last breath I thought back to my childhood and realized how truly lucky I was. My dad wasn’t perfect. It was easier for him to give you a hard time vs saying I love you. My mom died suddenly 6 days after I had given birth to their 1st grandchild. My dad never hesitated & stepped up & was THE “Grandpa”. He took the role very seriously. When we got the call he had hours to live, both of my kid’s worlds were rocked. They were losing Grandpa, the one that told them he loved them daily & they could become anything. My son volunteered to do his eulogy. Listening to him speak that day I let my heart hear his words and realized how much my dad loved his family. I always thought my dad was tough to love … I realized it was me that made it tough to allow my dad to love me.
Luther Barger
closeXRodney was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He loved to make others laugh and you never knew what he was going to do to get those laughs. He loved to fish and sit around bonfires. He took great pride in teaching his kids, nieces and nephews how to fish and when it came to playing with them, he was indeed the biggest kid of all. So Many would say that he would give the shirt off his back. We now say that he gave his amazing heart so that another may continue their journey. As much as it hurts not having him here with us, we know he is happy with the gifts he has given. We are so proud of him and there is not a day that goes by that we don’t think of him and how very much we love and miss him. He is now our guardian angel that watches over us until we meet again in the heavens above.
Paige Barnes
closeXThe family & friends of Paige Mackenzie Barnes would like to share with you a bit of who this gorgeous girl was. Paige loved her family, friends, her 2 dogs, sports, country music & life. She had an infectious hearty laugh & a mega watt smile. She was fun, funny, & a big goofball, yet she was loving, sensitive, & caring. She lit up a room with her presence. If you were lucky enough to know her & be loved by her, you were blessed. When she loved you, she loved you completely & unconditionally. She believed in God & accepted Jesus as her savior. We know she was only on loan to us….a gift to love & cherish. Some people take 100 years to accomplish what God sent them to do….it took Paige only 24. She believed in giving. Her greatest act of giving, in the end, was that she was a “Giver of Life”. She chose to be a donor at age 16 & became a Christmas miracle to 3 recipients who received her gifts of life & their families for years to come. Fly High Christmas Angel! We love & Miss you Paigey!!
James Bartrum
closeXI really do not know what to say. Daddy (James) was a great father and he was a great man. This is still so fresh. I am Happy to know that my daddy was able to save/help someones life!! I would to be able to meet or talk to the wonderful people that he was able to help. And knowing that he still lives in someone makes my HEART feel a little bit warmer from the freeze of his death.
Brandon Beal
closeXBrandon was a friend to all. He lived his life to its fullest, even though he fought Cystic Fibrosis his entire life. In January of 2009, he received the gift of life by being given two new lungs. In February 2017, he was unable to fight anymore and passed away. Although his major organs could not be donated, other parts of his body were donated including his eyes. He would be happy to know that he is continuing to impact someone’s life in a positive way.
Damien Beghtel
closeXDamien was a happy baby we miss and love him dearly. He donated parts of his heart to save 2 infants lives. We will be forever grateful to have him for the little time we did. (An angel with the book of life wrote down my baby’s birth, she whispered as she closed the book “too beautiful for earth”.)#Damienstrong
Amanda Belcher
closeXI knew the day Amanda was born that my baby girl was special and was meant to do wonderful things. Amanda was born with hydrocephalus and we were told that given the severity that she probably wouldn’t survive past the age of 2. We were blessed with hard work and lots of love, some set backs like seizures and shunt infection. She still managed to beat the odds and finish high school. Amanda became a loving and caring young lady. She always cared about others more than herself. I lost a big piece of my heart and life when I lost her, but I know she is smiling down and happy that we donated to save other lives, because that’s the type of person my girl was….GIVING!
Abigail Borden
closeXAbby was a kind, loving, caring mother, daughter, and sister. She was one of a kind beautiful person inside & out. Her son will grow up & know what a selfless person his mommy was. What her choosing to become a donor really meant to complete strangers. He will always know his mommy is someone’s hero.
Shemika Boyd
closeXThis is Shemika Boyd .She was an incredible and phenomenal woman. She was the type of person who could make any bad day turn out to one of the best days.Shemika was filled with so much positive energy! She loved helping others in every way she could,She loved having long random talks with her family (especially her T-lady, and grandmother),but most importantly she loved raising and giving unconditional love to her 2 baby boys.Shemika life came to an end sooner than her loved ones wanted but we go on each day by holding on to all of the memories, laughs, and every joyful moment we shared with her.Even though we Love and miss her so much we must go on and let Shemika live through us.
Matt Brownen
closeXYesterday, Today & Tomorrow
Yesterday I felt okay
I smiled when I thought of you.
I remembered happy times
And the funny things you’d do.
But today I feel so very sad
I think of you and cry.
I’m missing you so very much
And still asking God why?
I don’t know what will happen
When I face another day.
What will tomorrow bring?
Will I cry or be okay?
This roller coaster of emotions
Is the worst ride of my life.
Nothing can prepare you
For the never ending strife.
I may not handle my emotions
The way that I should do.
But I still thank the Lord
For the time I had with you.
Bradlee Burgess
closeXWe received Brad when he was six weeks old through adoption. He graduated from John Adams High School. He tried football, flute, Japanese and wood working. After high school, he worked at a fast food restaurant and then moved into a higher class restaurant. He ended up working with his dad at Culligan Soft Water and was a route man. He liked the freedom of being on the road an on his own. His interests were playing video games, being outside, working out at the YMCA and running. He had friends, but none like his dog “Blue.” Bradlee had many opportunities in his short life. He traveled through many of the states and China. When Bradlee died, the decision was made to donate his organs. We are proud to say that someone received his heart, pancreas, liver and both kidneys. Our son was able to give the greatest gift of all – the gift of life. We love him and will forever miss him.
Gregory Bussard
closeXGreg was gregarious in every sense of the word loving to meet new people, socialize with long time friends and family, and share the love of Jesus with everyone. Greg wasn’t always a man so dedicated to Christ. From his indiscretions, he was able to help many by leading AA and NA meetings and being a committed sponsor. He shared his story and was a hope and inspiration to show that overcoming addiction is possible. Greg became a certified lay speaker and shared the Word every chance he could. God had saved him and he had dedicated his life to serving God. He was preparing to give a sermon on the day God decided to take him home. Before his heart attack on the day of his death, he said, “remember I am a not human being on a spiritual quest, but rather a spiritual being on a human journey.” Greg’s knowledge, kindness and sensitivity will never be forgotten but held in our hearts forever. Because we knew him, we have been changed for good.
Mike Butler
closeXMike was our only son. He passed away November 8, 2017. We miss him terribly. He was a joy as a little boy always happy and moving with the prettiest blue eyes. He played basketball, football, and baseball through middle and high school. His senior year of high school he had the highest batting average in Wells County. As an adult he loved playing softball, bowling and golfing. He bowled a 300 game when he was younger and had a hole-in-one during a golf outing. He had grown to love bass fishing. He competed in bass fishing tournaments, recently purchased a bass boat but couldn’t use it much due to his failing health. Mike had one sibling. She loved him dearly and he loved her. He loved his nieces and nephews like his own, loved the great-nieces and nephews and thought everything they said or did was special. Mike had 3 step-children who he loved and was proud of. Mike loved animals , especially the family cat, MaGraw. Mike was a loving, helpful son, a wonderful brother and fantastic uncle. He signed up to be a donor several years back hoping to help someone. We miss Mike so much.
Zachary Caldwell
closeXZachary Lynn Caldwell was born to Shannon and Brenda Caldwell on September 18, 2003. He had a older sister, Breawna . He lived on the family farm in rural Indiana. Growing up, he loved all things with wheels, whether that be tonka trucks, toy tractors, or hot wheel cars. Tractors though had a special place in his heart. As he got older, those toy tractors turned into real life. Farming always came first in his heart and his life. Driving tractors on the family farm owning a few of his own, and working on the farm equipment were his favorite past times. If he wasn’t farming, he could be found raising pigs, deer hunting, shooting bows and guns, or riding his four wheeler. Zachary also played defense and offense in football for 5 years. Zachary had a personality that lit up the entire room. It didn’t matter where he was, he couldn’t help but put on his goofy smile and within minutes he had everyone else smiling and laughing too. His personality was second only to his heart of gold, which cared about everyone and everything over himself.
Carrie Cealka
closeXCarrie was a generous person, with a lively smile that lit up the room and those around her; I can still hear her laughter. Carrie gave so much of herself to her family, friends, church, and students of her classroom. She enjoyed those smaller moments: the warm sand underneath her feet while walking along the beach, a special dessert, a cup of coffee by a sunny window, being outside, and taking her dog for walks in the forest behind her home. In doing those activities now, we remember her everyday. She is not gone, but simply where we can no longer see her, but must rely on feeling her presence. She is our hero for saving lives through organ donation.
Ashley Christ
closeXIt’s hard to find words to describe someone that holds such a special place in our hearts and the hearts of others. Our Ashley was passionate about life from the time she entered this world. Her laugh was heard and felt by many. Ashley’s laugh wasn’t just a sound you heard, it was the feeling you felt. She was fierce in her short life here. She loved Jesus and was desperate to know him more, to be close to him and ultimately find freedom in and with him. She was always looking for someone to help, even in her own trials. There’s not a day that goes by we don’t think of Ashley. Though we miss her deeply and our hearts break for more time with her, we feel blessed to have shared 24 years with her. There’s no promise of tomorrow. When we are willing to love someone immensely, we know heartbreak awaits each of us in life. Thank you lord that we were blessed with a love for Ashley that we have to experience heartbreak over the loss of her, yet fully trust we will see her again. She gave the gift of life!
Jazmin Clanton
closeXJazmin was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to so many. She was a wonderful, selfless soul that did not judge anyone. When she was only a year old she won The Most Beautiful Baby Contest. Jazmin, would often come home from school talking about “the new kid” that she would go sit by at lunch or showing them around school. When Jazmin was in middle school, she was earned and was chosen to be a member of National Junior Honor Society. Jazmin was the one who would make friends with anyone she might find herself surrounded by. She played soccer, took up acting for a short period, but really enjoyed swimming. She loved to jump in the pool and just swim. Her favorite saying was “Just keep swimming”. She was very creative with homemade gifts to her family or friends. Drawing cartoon characters was one of her talents. She loved any animal especially cats. When she graduated high school she wanted to go in the Navy an serve our country as well as train service animals. She will be missed by so many. WE LOVE YOU JAZMIN!!
Bryan Clauson
closeXA son, brother, fiance, dog dad and best friend. Bryan is the true definition of a champion – always humble, always gracious, the perfect role model. Bryan made the people around him strive to be better. Always welcoming, Bryan had a knack for making everyone who came into contact with him feel important. At just 27 years old, Bryan is leaving a legacy behind that will last forever. He was a master of his craft, an absolute superstar on the race track and an exemplary ambassador for the sport he so dearly loved. To really understand Bryan, all you had to do was look in his eyes. You could see the scope of his whole being – fierce competitor on the track, vibrant zest for life and when looking at his family, a love that will last a lifetime. Saving lives through donation is just another example of Bryan’s generosity – always going above and beyond and expecting nothing in return. Bryan is our hero. We love and miss you, B. #BCForever

Alexander Cullum
closeXAlex was everything you could ask for in a Son, Brother, Teammate, Coach, and Friend. He was a person with Unbelievable Character, and a Heart of Gold that Touched the lives of everyone that knew him. Alex’s loss is a valley for all of us here, but we need to remember this is a peak for Alex as God has called him home to Heaven. Alex lived life to the fullest and truly appreciated every moment. He made everyone around him feel special. Alex was selfless. He worked 5 different jobs, but got the most joy doing the one that allowed him to Mentor young men and make a huge impact on all of them. The impact that he has made on these young men will be carried on for generations. Nobody is Born A Warrior, we make ourselves into one. Alex made himself into one and he will Always Be A Warrior.
Carlotta (Tody) Curren
closeXTody Curren was a loving daughter, faithful wife, loving Mother and grandmother. She genuinely cared , protected, served and loved others more than she ever did for herself. I am sure that if she were here today she would have something similar to this to say. “Remember me when the gentle wind blows, you will feel me with you in the suns warming glows. Don’t cry for me, my heart is still with you. I am in my new home in heaven above. I am whole again, at peace and surrounded by love. I am grateful I had the chance to give back and live on in others so they too, will be able to feel the sun shine down upon them. My life was full of love, joy, surprises, pain and sorrow. Now I am at peace and can be part of all your tomorrows. Remember me as the one who was always there for you, the one who would do anything for you but most of all, that I love you. I will always be here for you. Remember me when the gentle wind blows.”
Chris Curry
closeXWe miss you so much. You have our back in heaven, and we have your back here on earth. Our hero forever and always. Love Dad, Mom, Daryn, Mandy, Trent, Mason, Todd, Courtney, Preston, Spencer, Avery, Felicia, Kolbie, and Finn
Sherry Dailey
closeXSherry was a loving wife of 25 years and mother of five. She loved long conversations and her two dogs but most of all she loved helping anyone she could. God has her in his arms, but we have her in our hearts.
James William Douglas Daniels
closeXJamie or pimp as we called him, would move mountains just to make someone laugh. He was truly a wonder. While far from perfect he was a perfect son and I knew he was going to be a perfect father to his newly born daughter. He was a worrier and a warrior, he had a brush with death a few years before and had been given a death sentence but yet was more worried about others than himself. I say warrior because 2 times he shouldn’t have lived and ultimately it took a bullet to kill him. Everyone who met him may not have loved him but, they were almost guaranteed to have laughed he was an old soul and the world is a sadder place without him. I feel sorry for everyone who didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him he lifted spirits….
Larry Darland
closeXDad will be most remembered for his unconditional love, his sense of humor, always pulling pranks, telling jokes, and his tender heart, especially toward his wife, kids, and grand kids. His greatest passions were his God, his family, and his country.
Randy Davis
closeXOur father was a one and only. He would only give and never take. His grandchildren were the light of his eye, and they had a special place in his heart. His wife was the love of his life and partner forever. His two daughters and sons in laws meant the world to him. He lived his life with a moto “Plain and Simple” and that is how we live now. He was the best husband, father, and grandfather you could ever ask for. We miss him each and every day. Even though he is not with us, we know he is walking right beside us every day. We love and miss you so much
Cody Deaton
closeXLet us not be sad that he is not with us, but instead let’s live on his memory forever. Let’s live life to the fullest as he did the same. Our hearts are forever broken but let us smile, knowing he will guide all of us for the rest of our lives. Love, Mom, Conner, & Mayson
Brock Denton
closeXBrock was one of a kind. He loved his family, friends and his dog, Grimey. He had so many gifts and talents. He could make you laugh at the drop of a hat, write you a song out of nowhere and find a joke in anything, just to cheer you up. Brock could also write, direct and star in his own movie. Everyone who knew him called him a friend. He would give you the last dollar out of his pocket and the shirt off his back with thinking twice about it. If you needed anything, there was Brock. He would magically appear with the solution to fix your problem. The love of his life was his wife, Amber. They had a super hero themed wedding. Brock of course was Batman as he was Amber’s Batman. We all thought he truly was batman because he was fearless, showed up when you needed him the most and made you feel important. We truly miss our Batman Brock. His love, sense of humor and compassion are always with us. We celebrate his life by remembering to always laugh, sing and dance whenever possible. #WEBROCK

Donald Dobbs
closeXDonald loved life! He and his wife, Arland, enjoyed over 43 years together. They were together constantly, did everything together and this will leave an empty space in her heart. He was a member of the “HIS” Gospel group and performed in this ministry until his passing and a member of the Kokomo, Church of God. He never met a stranger, he talked to everyone and had a style of humor you could not forget. He was known as the man on the corner who talked to everyone and had the beautiful flowers. He is greatly missed by his daughter, April and husband Jason and her family, Jaxon, Gianna, and Alayna. The bond between Pap, Jaxon and Gianna was so special. He lived every day for them. And step daughter, Tina, who he loved as his own, her family and grandchildren. Kathy and Brian Daniele and their children, Marianna and Lucia. Don looked forward to his talks with Kathy on the phone every week. Many other family, his brother and sisters will miss him as well. Til we meet again, my Husband, Dad and Pap…we will all then.. rejoice together.
Anabelle Doerr
closeXAnabelle’s stories of being raised on a farm, riding Black Beauty to school, her family following her dad as he worked for the CCC in SD during the building of Mt. Rushmore, then the magical wedding to Bob aboard the A.W. Greeley in the North China Sea, and serving with Civil Service in the Philippines painted delightful pictures in our minds. As we have grown older, we came to realize those stories took place in the midst of the depression, dust bowl, and WWII. Mom learned well to “make do” and live the life around her as best she could. Her spunky spirit touched many including her three children, five grand children, and six great grand children. She would be pleased to know even her 94 year-old body had one more gift to give as she donated her skin. You are a gift, mom!
Kim Dohoney
closeXYou can never get as much time with the ones you love as you think you are owed. We didn’t know Mom’s time with us would be short, but we are thankful for the time we had. Words can’t express how much she meant to me and my family. She and my dad, Lonnie, were married April 14, 1973 and were best friends. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and sisters very strongly and without reservation. Mom loved the Lord with all her heart and we find comfort in knowing she is in heaven, where she always wanted to be.
Jennifer Downs
closeXLoving, strong, kind and loyal are just a few of the qualities that come to mind when remembering Jennifer. I her short life, she accomplished many things. Successful chef and business woman are a few but mostly we remember her beautiful smile and warm heart. She was always there and lover her family and friends. She would have gladly laid down her life for any of us. In her death, she gave the greatest gift. The gift of life for all those she could help.
Porsha Duncan
closeXPorsha is the oldest sibling of three born to Jody & Jennie Duncan. She has two wonderful children, Lindsay 7 and Allan 6, who she loved very much and spoiled rotten. Her brother Randy always looked up to her and followed right behind her everywhere she went. She offered sisterly advice to her little sister Kaylee as she grew into a young woman. Her smile and laugh would light up a room when she walked in. She had a heart of gold and it showed in everything she did. Porsha had been a registered organ donor since she was 16 and she always encouraged others to do the same. Her selfless gift gave three other people another chance of life. Our hero will always be remembered, missed and loved by many family and friends. Porsha will live on through our memories forever and the three recipients who received the gift of life. We honor her memory by supporting Organ Donation. “She sings a song of hope and cheer, there’s no more pain, no more fear. You’ll see her in the clouds above, hear her whisper words of love.” -Christy Ann Martine
Shawn Duncan
closeXShawn was loved by every person that had ever met him. When he was just 17 he started a business to flip houses. His goal was to buy small houses and sell them for a low price to create greater opportunities for single-parent families. Shawn dedicated his life to live for Jesus and strived to love like He loved. I’m so proud to say he did.
Brandon England
closeXWhere has the time gone? It seems like yesterday you could walk into any room and light it up with your smile. Although you are no longer with us physically, we feel you all around us each and every day. There are so many things that remind us of you and we know that you a sending us the little reminders. Whether it’s your favorite song we hear on the radio, or we come across one of your crazy tie-dye shirts – we know it’s your way of letting us know you are with us. Your decision to be an organ donor at such a young age says so much about you and your compassion for others. You’ve not only made a positive impact on us, but also on two complete strangers – your organ recipients. We are so proud to call you our son, brother, and friend! We love and miss you dearly and look forward to your next little reminder. Keep smiling down on us!

Dhansukh Gala
closeXDhansukh aka Dan Gala was an amazing father, son, husband, brother and friend. His friends and family described him as a smart, intelligent, kind hearted, selfless giver and making every moment a special moment who touched heart of every one he met. One of his specialty was always able to make spontaneous remarks making people laugh. He had a way of stealing hearts and knew how to make everyone feel special, even strangers. Dan touched many people here in his short lifetime and because of that, those people have become a part of our lives and helped tremendously with our healing process. My sons and I chose to donate with this wonderful organization because Dan was all about helping so many people. He would give selflessly to someone in need without even thinking twice. We take comfort in knowing that our loved one became a “miracle” for other souls in need of his eyes and his bones and skin. It gives us peace knowing his soul is rejoicing in heaven and knowing that his body parts are even useful after his parting from it. He will always remain our heart and soul with his great legacy of unlimited memories. Love You Always!

Jeremy’s family and friends are very proud that he chose to touch the lives of others in need and their families through the Indiana Donor Network. He lives on through his recipients and in our hearts forever.

Lorenzo was known for being Santa Claus at the local preschool for the children and also at the Chain’o’lakes club. He was a good father hard but loving, and he spent a lot of years working as a Wheelabrator man. He will always be missed and remembered as the Joker.

Lewis Kellems
closeXLewis was a very special and loving husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and his greatest joys were his grandchildren. He is greatly missed by many in so many ways. From of coarse the love and support when any of us needed it the most, even when he was trying to hold it together himself, all the way down to the practical jokes. It is all missed more than words can possibly explain. So until we meet again, good bye Lewis, Dad, and Grandpa. We all Love and miss you so very much!
Robert Kieler
closeXGod couldn’t have blessed us with a finer Dad. He would have done anything for his kids. Instead of lecturing or yelling, he led by example. Our Dad believed in God and tried his best to live his faith. He treated people the way he would want to be treated. He was kind, loving and gentle. He tried not to worry preferring instead to trust that God would make sure that everything worked out for the best. It broke my heart to lose you, Dad. I promise to live the rest of my life in your example. Until me meet again….. We love you, Dad.
Dinita LaBan
closeXTo the best mom on earth, the kindest soul to all and a smile for everyone. She gave all she could in life and she shared the gift of giving from heaven too. We love and miss you Mimi D. Gina, Matt, Zoe and Reese Singleton
Cameron Langenfeld
closeXCam was a wonderful blend of angel on Earth and “all boy”. Always there with a quick encouraging word/action, champion of the underdog, never afraid to stand up for what was right. Never saw color, ability, property, or money as the worth of a person. He already had the ability to look past exteriors and into the hearts of others. He would love that his last act on this Earth was to help others to live.
Justin Langford
closeXJustin – beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin & soulmate. Thank you for setting the example and encouraging the rest of the family to become organ donors. Michael is no longer diabetic; Fernando can run with his son & daughter and play soccer; Alex is playing with his siblings and no longer on dialysis; a young man has hope because of your liver; a young mother extended her life due to your lungs; 2 individuals have the gift of sight; and many others have been healed through your gift of tissue. You are a hero to many and set a high bar for the rest of us to follow. We are laughing, loving, mentoring, running, and educating in your memory. Looking forward to our reunion in heaven. Until then, we will be thankful for every memory and create new ones. You are loved, unconditionally.
Marques Little
closeXI remember when Marques decided to become a donor… I took him to the DMV to get his driver’s license. We got through the testing process, and when the rep asked about becoming a donor, he turned to me and asked what that meant. I explained to him that if something should happen to him, that he would be sharing himself with others that need his help. He asked what he should do; I told him the decision was his. He asked if I was a donor; I pulled out my license and showed him the heart on my ID and said yes. He then said it was settled: “If all of me can’t be here, at least part of me can”. That was Marques: care, passion, and compassion for others permeated every fiber of his being. Talent, genius, and an infectious smile were what defined him. And love for life, people, animals, and nature were how he expressed himself. That is the legacy that 19 year old Marques leaves behind. And the fact that he is sharing that with others even after his earthly presence is gone is what makes him the most special gift to our lives. #MARQUESFORLIFE
Terry Malmquist Sr
closeXTerry was such a kind, caring, and selfless man. He was such a blessing to me, his wife for the 43+ years of our marriage, up until the day God called him home. He was also a loving father to our two sons. He was always there to help any of us with anything. He was a man of faith, who also served in many capacities. He volunteered in our community for the United Way Day of Caring to assist those in need. He gave up a day of wages to be able to help the needy. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. He helped family, friends, neighbors, and the elderly using his God-given handyman skills. Helping others brought him so much joy. He loved to make people laugh. He definitely lived to serve. His service didn’t end the day he passed away. Even in death he wanted to help others by donating his organs. He lives on in so many people through his organ, tissue, bone and cornea donations. His spirit will always live on in all who knew him, especially family and friends. We were so blessed to have him in our life!
Aaron Martin
closeXAaron Daniel Martin is fondly remembered for his passion for music and art. He was an amazing, devoted father, a loyal son, and a fun-loving brother. While the tragic loss of our Aaron has left us with a pain deeper than we’ve ever known, we find peace and comfort in the fact that Aaron was able to bless others through organ donation. Aaron, we love you so much and will never forget you. You live on, not only in the lives of your organ recipients but, forever in our hearts.
Aaron Martin
closeXCarry On My Wayward Son…We can’t help Everyone but Everyone can HELP SOMEONE. You ARE ALWAYS SOMEONE TO US HONEY…3 LIVES ❤️❤️❤️
Joce Martin
closeXI prayed for a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes . I asked God please send me an angel with a heart as pure as gold. Little did I know I would be blessed with just that. Joce was all of my dreams and wishes come true . She would be the one to save my life and give it direction and everlasting love. She was truly the most amazing person one could ever hope to meet. She may have been young but yet had this world figured out long before we would. Her heart loved more then most and her giving spirit will live on forever in the lives she has touched. Her best friend says ” she was the best person I’ve ever met. My best friend forever and she’ll always be in my heart. ” Joce was my little sister but she taught me more then I could ever teach her. She loved with her whole heart and treated everyone and everything with kindness. Our world will forever be dim without her. I strive everyday to honor and love her by loving the world she was taken from.
Jon Massey
closeXJon A. Massey was the truest friend to everyone he met, the best father to his children, Jake & Jenna, the most loving Pops to his sweet granddaughter, Camryn, & the most loyal husband to his wife of 43 years, Joni. He spent 64 years to the very fullest and left a mark on every life he touched. Although Jon knew his permanent address was inside the gates of heaven, he was determined to impact this world while he was passing through. He served his country through his time in the Marine Corps & a career for Homeland Security, his Lord through his testimony & rock-n-roll worship, & his family through the unconditional love & devotion he poured into them. He was the most generous, hilarious, steadfast man any of us have ever had the privilege of knowing. We are all better people just by the time we got to spend with him. While his family misses him more than words can describe, we rejoice in the fact that even beyond the grave he chose to touch the lives of people in need & their families through the Indiana Donor network. Matthew 25:21 “Well done, good & faithful servant”
Michael Mayes
closeXMike was a devoted husband, son, brother and uncle. He was a gentle man that loved spending time with his family, friends and pets. Mike received the gift of life as a liver transplant recipient on June 27, 2001 and was proud to pay it forward. Mike always had a big, warm smile and kind, encouraging words for anyone he encountered. I was so fortunate to share almost 49 years with this wonderful man. I’ll love him forever and miss him every second of the rest of my life.
Carla McCloud
closeXAlthough Carla was taken from us way too soon she sure made an impact while she was here. She had an infectious laugh and her smile was as wide as the horizon. Shine on baby girl, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!
Robert McDonald
closeXBob loved life and everything it had to offer. His family and friends were always his priority and greatly cherished. He loved playing tennis, riding his bike, yoga, movies with friends and a great poker game. Bob was a great friend and supporter to many. His larger than life personality, smile, love, laughter, strength and positive attitude are dearly missed. Bob never knew a stranger. He was a generous and thoughtful man throughout life and in death through the Donor Network. We are very honored and proud that through our loss and sorrow Bob was able to give to those in need and help others live life to its fullest just as Bob had lived. We Love You Dad/Beebs!!! You are forever in our hearts.
Bruce McFarland
closeXBruce was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. He loved reading the Bible and serving God. He is dearly missed, but knowing that he is in Heaven waiting for us, gives us comfort. Bruce was a very giving person and loved talking to people and trying to lead them to God.
Cheri McKinney
closeXA true hero isn’t measured by the size of their strength but by the strength of their heart. Cheri is a hero for her gifts of donation, but few realize she was a hero long before her passing. Cheri was an inspiration to all of us. She was a woman of grace and dignity. Cheri was a self-sacrificing woman who asked for so little but gave so very much. A warrior who had her stubborn moments. Cheri was artistic and creative. She was loving and compassionate no matter the situation. Cheri went above and beyond in all aspects of her life. Cheri’s family and friends came first to her. To Cheri family wasn’t always blood, some were friendships. None the less everyone was treated as family! We know that life is not forever but Cheri’s love lives on forever; for love is a light that never dims! In the words of her favorite writer, “So what does it matter how long we may live, if as long as we live unselfishly give.” Helen Steiner Rice
Allison Layne Cropper Mehringer
closeXOur beautiful Alli was taken suddenly from us two years ago on Easter Sunday. Her loving spirit shines through everyday in her three young children. Alli was first and foremost a devoted mother and enjoyed teaching her babies the joys in life. She poured her heart into her roles of daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. Alli was quick to give and quick to put all others needs above her own. We will forever remember her giving ways, especially by her decision to give life to those who were suffering.

Justin Milam
closeXJustin’s favorite quote was “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. He was a kind, gentle, compassionate and intelligent young man. He cared deeply about the environment, animal welfare and equality for all people. I have never known anyone who knew more about world history, cultural diversity, current events, religious differences, and politics than Justin. One of the things I miss the most is his infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. In his short life he impacted many people – classmates, coworkers, teachers, friends and family. He made me want to be a better person, and because of him the world is a better place. My comfort is knowing that we will be together again someday.
Kenneth Miller
closeXTHE BROKEN CHAIN We little knew that morning that God would call your name, in life we loved you dearly in death we do the same It broke our hearts to lose you you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide, and though we can not see you you are always at our side Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
Scott Morin
closeXScott had a big personality with a wonderful smile. He was there to help whenever his friends or family needed him. He loved his dog, Bailey, who preceded him in death by 5 weeks. A good friend, a wonderful brother and a special son. He is missed by us all! Til we meet again, Love, Mom, Dad, Sara and friends and family

He never spoke a word , however his thoughts and emotions was always heard and felt. So honored Colby was placed in our lives and hearts. Colby was so smart , brave and handsome. Colby loved music, long walks, and running and jumping. Marjorie Mowrey
closeXIf you looked up the name Marjorie in the dictionary, you would see that the name means pearl. Which is just one of the many beautiful things that Marge loved in this life. One of seven children raised on a farm, she knew what hard work was all about. She married Bob, the love of her life. And in those 52 years, they built a home and gave birth to five children – Lanna, Michael, Laura, Marcia and Mark; who in turn provided 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren! For many years, she was den mother for scouts, personal instructor for 4-H events and any other event she could get to. Her support and care for her family was endless. Her love for her Lord brought many hours of volunteering at church. Her glowing smile and caring ways are something we will remember. She always had a kind word to say and made you feel as special as she could. The void she leaves is great because of all the wonderful things she did for everyone else. Which reminds us that having Marjorie in our lives has been something beautiful and something good.
Alex Myers
closeXAlex K. Myers 09/21/89-10/05/16 Alex was an amazing son, brother, uncle, grandson, friend, and newly a father. His friends and family would describe him as a selfless giver, sweet talker, and an all around great person. One of his specialities was always being able to make people laugh. He had a way of stealing hearts and knew how to make everyone feel special, even strangers. Alex touched many people here in his short lifetime and because of that those people have become a part of our lives and helped tremendously with our healing process. His dad and I chose to donate with this wonderful organization because Alex was all about helping so many people. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need without even thinking twice. It gives his family and friends some peace knowing he is still being Alex, even in Heaven.
David Nielander
closeXDavid Loved the Lord. He was a God fearing man. He enjoyed helping others when the need arose. He loved his 2 daughters and his 4 granddaughters. They were his life. He was very caring person. He is missed but through his death he has made a donation to others who need the gift of life.
Christopher O'Conner
closeXChristopher Ray O’Connor, 29, was born on the Fourth of July. Like the fireworks we see every year on his birthday, his smile would light up the darkest night. He never met a stranger, he was a friend to everyone. His biggest pride was his family, his mother and father, his brothers and his sister, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, and especially his nieces and twin nephews. Always a kid at heart, he was more than just the fun uncle, he was eternally their playmate and their friend. His light and his energy made everyone want to be close to him. We love him and miss him beyond measure, but despite his life being cut impossibly short, his decision to become an organ donor ensured that he will once again light up the darkest nights for many other families.
Chad Parsons
closeXChad was loved and cherished by his mother and father, Debbie and Bobby Parsons, and his brother and sister, Patrick and Christy. He is also sadly missed by his 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Chad was a very upstanding young man who loved the Colts and Pacers, and was an avid video game player since becoming disabled. He had worked for Walmart and had injured his back in a fall from a ladder. His smile was infectious, and would do anything for anyone, except kill an insect, he was so afraid of bugs. Giving was how he lived his life, so it was natural for him to be a donor. May God watch over him till we can be together.

closeXWe come together today to celebrate your life and your decision to be an organ donor. You have touched our lives in so many ways and we are deeply saddened that you left us so soon. We know that your life was often troubled and full of pain and heartbreak but you also showed us your joy and laughter. Your love for us and for the simple things in life has created beautiful memories that will be with us forever. I know we as a family are proud to know that even though we lost our little bird on that tragic night, she was able to give the gift of sight to someone. Rick Reneer
closeXRick Reneer was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. His passion for life was contagious. Whether it was working with children in the church’s bus ministry, doing house repairs for neighbors and friends, volunteering at church or just being present when he was needed, Rick was a giver. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and stopping at friend’s houses just to talk or share a smile. He was very proud of his two sons, Brock and Beau, and never missed a chance to spend time with them. Rick was known for his love of fireworks and the July 4th holiday. He enjoyed celebrating with family and creating the biggest and best fireworks display. Rick was truly driven by his love for God. He tried to show that love by helping others and spending time with family. The Reneer family is thankful to the Indiana Donor Network for allowing Rick to give to others one more time. May all the families who have given through the loss of their loved one be blessed. Rick, we love you so much and are thankful for your legacy of giving. Our hope is to model your passion for giving.
Jackson Roberts
closeXJackson was a Senior at Carmel High School. He had already received acceptance letters from Indiana University and Ball State University, and was anxiously awaiting his Purdue University acceptance letter before making his final decision on where to attend college. We found out that Jackson was accepted to Purdue University and we are so proud that he achieved his dream. Jackson enjoyed computers and gaming, and he loved spending time with his family and beloved canine companion, Sandy. Jackson was extremely intelligent and handsome, of course. He had a quick wit and loved poking fun at nearly everyone, which made his blue eyes twinkle with delight. Jackson was loyal, articulate and had passion for what he believed in, and all of his outstanding attributes were certainly going to take him far in life and love. Jackson will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Jackson’s lasting impact of his love and friendship will forever live on with all who were fortunate to know him. There really are not enough words to describe Jackson and what he meant to everyone, but to know Jackson was to love him and in return he loved unconditionally and with a pure heart. We love you, Jackson!
David Rooksberry
closeXDavid Wayne Rooksberry was a very passionate husband and a loving father and Papa. He was a big family man and loved spending time with his wife of 40 years, his two children, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. His presence, compassion, and expert advice are what we miss the most. Anyone who knew David was impressed by his great sense of humor and his ambition to overcome any challenge thrown his way. His passing has left a huge hole in our hearts, but the time we had with him we will cherish forever. He had a huge impact on all of our lives and for that, we are thankful to have had the opportunity to know this amazing man. The man, the myth, the legend; we love you for eternity.
Ashton Rowe
closeXYou came into the world fighting to survive; a fiery energy that no one could contain. Loving all creatures of great and small size, heartbroken when they endured some pain. Driven by curiosity and adventure, you amazed us with your inventions and discoveries. A poignant wit, keen sense of humor, and chivalrous. We loved hearing your stories, your jokes, and feeling the joy of so much laughter. So many dreams to fulfill, so much promise. Too fast it went by, too soon to go. Missing you can be too much; it wasn’t supposed to be without you. What we have left, we share with others. So many great memories, and creations you brought to life, and now your final gifts can potentially heal those in need. You will always be our amazing son. Forever in our hearts, Dad and Mom

There isn’t much we can’t say about Al as he lived every day as if it were his last. He was the most compassionate, great hearted man we will ever know. AL worked very hard for his family to ensure that they had a roof over their head, food on the table and clothes on their back but most importantly, love and understanding. He loved spending time with his family, friends and riding his Harleys. We, as his family and friends, are so proud of him and are so appreciative to have him as a donor. There is a profound impact knowing that he will go on through others with his donation – helping others just as he did in life. AL is our hero whom we will always remember and love forever.

Kim Settles Smith
closeXKim was a sweet and loving person and is missed by all who knew her. I was speaking with a lady at our Church on last Sunday and she told me how Kim had come to spend an entire day with her after she lost her husband. She said Kim took the day off work and told her they could do whatever she wanted to do, so they talked and had lunch and dinner together. Kim professed her faith in Christ at an early age and she didn’t have a problem telling people she was ready to go home (heaven), because she believed what God had for her. Kim worked for Covance Laboratory as a project manager for getting new drugs to market. Kim graduated from Perdue University majoring in Chemistry. Kim was a member of Eastern Star Church and sang in the Choir for years. As her Mother I take comfort in the fact that I know she is with God in Heaven, but still I miss her terribly. Jewell F Moseberry
Steven Smith
closeXMy dad Steven was a man of many stories, many words and knew no strangers. He was a man that would get phone calls daily asking him about something mechanical. If it had tracks, sticks or tires my dad could operate and drive it and twar it apart n put it back together. My dad was a stern man that at times growing up was a lil difficult to deal with. As time went on the reality of the reason to my dads rhyme was understood. At times I wanted to choke him n as i matured i could clearly see why he had done what was done. My dad is missed by so many. At least i know in my heart he is living on with programs like the Indiana Donor Network. The care and compassion never cease to amaze me. Dad u r missed and loved more than words could ever express.. THANK you for making me who i am. Love u dad!

As Kristi grew up she wanted to be just like her daddy, an EMT. She was a daddy’s girl. Kristi finally decided to become a Pharmacy Tech. Kristi has one brother and several sisters. Growing up her brother would call Kristi his twin even though he is 9 years younger than her. Kristi would call her younger sister “sis”. Kristi was a very bright and wonderful young lady. Kristi was given the gift of life and she wanted to return the gift of life. She was very selfless she would give all of herself to anyone she loved life and family. She loved her friends and all she was very compassionate to children cause of what she went thru.

closeXShe is in the sun, the wind, & the rain. She is in the air you breathe with every breath you take. Her best title was mom. Her favorite title was grandma. Although she spent little time on earth with her children & grandchildren she will forever be loved, cherished, & spoke about until we see her again. She loved the Indiana Fever, her family, her dogs, & of course her favorite TV shows. She lived in the same town at the same job for 20 years. She was devoted & dedicated to anything she was doing. Her love and life will always impact the generations that are following her. To have been loved so deeply even though the person who loved us is gone will give us some protection forever. Do not be afraid for I am with you. Isaiah 41:10
Michael Spencer
closeXMichael lived a life of service in his entire life. From being an altar boy from an early age through high school, to helping customers at the family gas station, to teaching Math and helping his students learn for over 30 years, he was always helping others. He worked in some very challenging environments, but he never complained. The one thing people said consistently throughout his life is that he was always smiling. It was one of his most recognizable attributes. As previously mentioned that he always wanted to help others, it is not surprising that he chose to help even at the time of his passing, by donating vital organs to those who desperately needed them. It’s almost certain that he’s still smiling when he looks at those who he’s helped this one last time.
Jennifer Biffer Spurgeon
closeXAnother year has come and gone since we last hugged and said “I love you!”. Where has the time gone? It’s been nine years, and yet, it still feels like yesterday that we had to continue our life journey with you tightly tucked away in our hearts. We miss your beautiful smile that shined everywhere you went. The world was so much brighter with the smile you gave to everyone you met. When you giggled, those around you couldn’t help but smile and giggle along with you. You always had a kind heart and were a friend to everyone around you. You touched the hearts of many and forever changed the lives of more people than you could have ever imagined. We will continue to share smiles with those who knew you, and bring hope and smiles to those who will hear of the awesome young lady you were as we continue to share your legacy. We love and miss you every day!

Kevin Stohler
closeXYou were the greatest Dad a girl could ever ask for. I will always remember the way your eyes would light up whenever you laughed. We had so many great times. I am so proud that you were able to help someone with the gifts you were able to give when you passed. I just hope that whoever received them lives life to the fullest, just like you did. Until we meet again, your memory will forever live on.
Joseph Strachan
closeXWe were blessed by Joseph Daniel Strachan. Joe had a wicked and wild sense of humor. He loved to laugh, and his laugh was contagious. He wanted people to be happy. He worked hard, never turning his back on a chore that needed to be done, and he played hard, enjoying riding dirtbikes with his father and brothers and ATV’s with his sister. He liked fishing, bonfires, and hanging out with his friends. He was wise for his young age, and insightful. If you leaned on him or consulted him with a problem, you could count on him to give you support and guidance. He had a kind and compassionate heart, and he wouldn’t hesitate to come to the aid of family and friends. His last great act of compassion was to be an organ donor. We are proud of him in how he lived his life and how he chose to help others when he had no more life to live. We love and miss him more than words can say. We honor his memory by supporting organ donation and living life as happily as we can without him.
Alton Chris Stump
closeXChris lived with a generous servant’s heart. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who loved God, his family and friends with all of his might. He showed his love and dedication in unexpected and sometimes unusual ways, things that have become comforting memories now.. To honor the memory of a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend we continue to live his legacy of love and generosity.
Misty Talbert
closeXMisty was so loved by everyone, her little son Hayden was the apple in her eye. Her life ended to soon, she was my baby girl, she was born with a lot of issues but over came them.
Cory Thompson
closeXCory Thompson is a son, an uncle, my baby brother and my hero. Not a day goes by that we don’t miss you Cory. The pain is still deep inside bro. You’re loved you’re missed and admired! Your twenty three years on earth brought us nothing but joy and beautiful memories. It hurts that I’ll never get to hug you again or play the game with you. I know this isn’t goodbye it’s just see you later, I had so many plans for us but they got cut short. I know you’re living through the ones you’ve saved by being a donor and your living through us. Keep looking down on us smiling baby bro, your happiness meant the world to us! We love you and miss you!
Terry Tippner
closeXTerry Tippner loved his family, friends, and anyone else that he crossed paths with. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He was a resilient man that overcame many struggles in his life and ultimately found peace when he made the decision to give his heart to Jesus. “If there is no mess then there is no message” is something that he often said when any of us were struggling. He understood that God brought him through those struggles, so that one day he could share those experiences with others and provide them with hope and comfort; and that’s exactly what he did. He was a very giving person in so many ways that it wasn’t a surprise when he made his wishes of being an organ donor known to us. The quote “Truly living or merely existing” accurately represents the way he lived and the way he believed. Each day he lived this by serving others, accepting others, and sharing the love of Jesus. His decision to donate ensures that he will once again be able to pay it forward to others and leave a lasting legacy.
Audrey Titzer
closeXAudrey was a beautiful soul, inside and out. She never failed to express her love for family and friends as she would hang up from a phone conversation or left their side. She had compassion for those that were aged, ill or in pain. Audrey loved animals, especially dogs, so if it is true that “all dogs go to heaven”, then we know she is happy in her new home with God. Having a generous heart, she always indicated on her drivers license that she wanted to be an organ donor. Through the Indiana Donor Network, Audrey was able give 4 people the Christmas miracles they had been praying for. We are very proud that she was able to provide a gift that will allow others to live on. AP – we will miss you and love you forever.

Mitchell Wadley
closeXIf you take a step towards me, you will take my breath away. So I’ll keep you close and keep my secret safe. No on else has ever love me, No one else has ever tried. I never understood how much I could take. If you cried out for more, if you reached out for me, I would run into the storm. Just to keep you here with me, I have gone beyond my years. I’ve wasted half my life, But I found it all in you. Did I save you? Cause I know you saved me too.
John Walker
closeXTribute to John A. Walker On Friday, September 23, 2016, John “Johnny Boy” Walker, age 39, was taking a short motorcycle ride after work when a car pulled out in front of him. He passed away on September 27, 2017 due to complications from the accident. John was an extremely strong man of faith, an absolute model Christian. He was in charge of the church sound system and had recently started playing the guitar which he enjoyed extremely. John was very humble. He was a great role model for both children and adults. John acted like a big kid but also somehow managed to be a disciplined adult. He was a die-hard Colts fan. He loved auto racing, motorcycles, having the newest technology and gadgets, shopping, video gaming, and so much more. John loved family gatherings where we would consume mass quantities of food, play all kinds of games for hours, and just generally had a great bonding experience.
Garrett Wallace
closeXOur sweet Garrett, how you are missed! You would be a man now but somehow I feel we would still be receiving those giant bear hugs and laughing out loud over your silly pranks and hilarious responses. You made us smile, happy and yes, sometimes frustrated! Where would life have taken you at age twenty-five? We will always wonder, but we will never forget. You are so loved and missed by so many, sweet boy.
Timothy Weeks
closeXA brilliant mind, wildly talented pianist and a much beloved dentist, Tim Weeks left this world too soon. Wholly invested in his family, he forged special relationships with each of his three kids, MacKenzie, Spencer and Maddie. He was a loving and devoted husband for 31 years to his wife Kim. He was a family man in the truest sense. Tim loved bonfires in the woods behind his house, a good book, floating in the pool, and playing board games with his kids. He was relentlessly competitive, whether it was playing ping pong, scrabble or corn hole with his family. But he was just as happy to lose, if it meant he spent time with his kids. We miss his gift of music. A talented, classically trained pianist, he filled our home with his music. Whether it was Chopin, a Broadway score or a Bill Evans jazz tune, there was always the sound of his piano playing in our home. Tim had a keen sense of social justice, volunteering his time and talents wherever the need arose. He is missed more than words can ever describe.
Dylan Tater-Digger Whitfield
closeXDylan was a very loving, gentle and caring young man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Dylan would always take the time to say hello and ask how you are doing – even to strangers he passed along his way. Dylan had a deep, believing faith and love for the Lord Jesus. He showed this in every aspect of his life. “There is a Special Angle in Heaven that is part of me. It is not where I wanted him, but where God needed him to be. He was here but just a moment, like a night time shooting star. Though he is in Heaven, he isn’t very far. He touched the hearts of many, like only an angel can do. So, I send this special message to heaven up above.” Please take care of my angel and send him ALL MY LOVE. “FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS!”
Da'Shawn Wilson
closeXDa’Shawn was loving, caring, and cheerful. If you were down he made you smile in any way shape of form he could. He had a smile that lit up the room. He was also a class clown but maintained his grades and maintained sports. When he was on the field it was like nothing could stop him. In one game it took 4 players to tackle him. If he wanted something, he was going to get it, nothing could stand in his way. He loved his family more than anything, that’s where most his happiness came from! He was the light to everyone’s day! He was loved very much.

Bobby Yates
closeXBob was a talkative, humorous and caring person, he was a blessing in the lives of everyone he met. He could be a bit stubborn at times, but he was also the type of person who would help anyone in need(and I mean anyone). Even if he was on his way somewhere and it made him late he would still stop and help someone that needed assistance. There was nothing Bobby treasured more than his loved ones, and his family was his greatest source of pride and joy. He enjoyed watching his kids when they played sports in high school, and loved playing with his grandkids. As he gave in life, he gave in death. He wanted to be an organ donor, never a question about that. His last gift on this earth. He will never be forgotten, his family misses him very much, but knows he will always be with them. The grandkids talk about him often.
